Colon Therapy
Colon hydrotherapy is a gentle yet effective cleansing treatment that flushes out toxins, hydrates the colon, and promotes overall wellbeing and detoxification.

Although there are many misconceived notions surrounding this therapy that can cause people to cringe, it is rare to find someone who isn’t an avid convert once they have had one! Water is one of the most healing substances to the body. Much like a pot plant that is in need of water, the water can often run straight through if received from the top. Conversely, if the pot is sat in water it can steadily absorb enough water to fully hydrate. This same principal can be applied to the body. The colon absorbs water in a way that ensures the body becomes systemically hydrated. Hydration enables all bodily functions and promotes health as well as facilitates the detoxification processes of the body. It also has a remarkable calming effect, feeding the thirsty adrenal glands and makes an excellent support for anyone suffering with adrenal fatigue. In addition to hydration, a colonic helps to shift bowel congestion, often removing very old faecal matter and bowel plaque. Coffee or Chamomile enemas can also be administered which are excellent for assisting the liver to dump its waste (including stones). Colonics are highly advisable during cleansing to assist toxin elimination and replenish the body’s hydration levels.

Myo-Facial Sculpting Massage
Facial drainage massage is a soothing, therapeutic treatment that alleviates facial tension, reduces puffiness, and enhances overall wellbeing and relaxation.

This therapy helps to release tension in the face jaw and cranium. The jaw, in particular, holds a lot of tension and is directly related to the pelvis. Releasing tension here can therefore have a knock-on effect throughout the body. Releasing tension in the head is helpful in order to shift congestion in the sinuses and ears, brings great benefit to those who suffer from posture-related headaches and is also excellent for smoothing lines and wrinkles. Hydrating and nourishing oils are used to feed the skin.

Iridology
Iridology provides valuable insights into your overall health, detecting potential weaknesses and imbalances before they manifest into more serious concerns.
Iridology gives a constitutional picture for your lifespan. It will pick up weakness in the connective tissue in an area but not disease. For example, in the digestive area it can tell you if you have developed low stomach acid and in the circulatory system if any deposits are building up within the arteries.

Pilates
Pilates is a gentle yet powerful exercise method that enhances strength, alignment, and mobility, making it suitable for all fitness levels.
Pilates is a movement method that focuses on using the body in the most anatomically correct and beneficial way to not only perform exercise but to carry out everyday movement in a safe and efficient manner. It was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates who was widely considered a genius of anatomical mechanics. Today it is practiced worldwide, particularly in the West. Although often likened to Yoga it is a very different practice with the focus not on stretching or held positions so much as muscle targeting using alignment, breathing and centring (use of the ‘core’ muscles) to tone the body in an efficient and effective manner.
Pilates is a suitable practice for any level of fitness and mobility. It is both safe and versatile and can therefore benefit those suffering from postural imbalances, injury or physical disability. It can also be highly challenging for those wanting to build strength and endurance and makes an excellent ‘support practice’ to athletes, such as runners and cyclists. It can even be used as a body sculpting technique for those wanting to improve their ‘bikini body’.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture uses fine needles to release energy blockages, aligning the body’s meridians.

A highly effective and ancient technique using fine needles to release stagnation of energy and bring harmony to the body.
Glastonbury itself is said to be situated on a Ley line or meridian. The ancient Britons believed that the Earth, like the body, has lines of energy that run through it and across it. They built various structures, such as stone circles, along their length to mark out where they lay. Glastonbury, the ancient Isle of Avalon, is thought to exist on such a line, and is sometimes thought to be a kind of acupuncture point of the earth.
The ancient Chinese also held similar beliefs and called them ‘dragon lines’. They took this notion further and discovered that there are similar passages of energy that run around and through the body. It is these pathways or meridians that an acupuncturist seeks to utilise during a treatment.

In doing so, she discovered Kinesiology and was astounded by how quickly and simply it effectively addressed her symptoms. During her healing journey she became aware that as she learnt more about what had been happening to her she was better able to manage her health herself – knowledge in healing is indeed power. She has since favoured a functional approach to medicine. In the years that followed, Pia learnt how to manage a modern lifestyle without allowing it to have a detrimental impact upon her health and is passionate about supporting the body to create durability without imposing radical or impractical restrictions upon it.
Pia is an advocate of treating the whole person; physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically in order to fully address health issues. She likes to work with her clients, encouraging them to better understand their bodies and take responsibility for their healing and wellbeing.
